Bob Jenkins Coaches Classic Information

Coaches Classic Elite Meet will be held on Friday April 19th, 2024 at Seneca High School. Invites will be sent to head coaches the week following the district meets.
Entry Fee:  $150 for both boys and girls team, $75 for one-gender team.  Make checks payable to SCTCCCA.  Our W-9 Tax Form is available on the website (www.carolinaxc.com  ALL FEES MUST BE RECEIVED BY MONDAY MARCH 18th, 2:59pm NO EXCEPTIONS Please check the confirmation page to see if we have received your entry fees.  Please be sure to send checks to Ethan Cox at CTE Innovation Center (402 Roper Mountain Road, Greenville SC 29615)
Coaches will be expected to work one event- this will be organized by the site director for each regional.

PLEASE NOTE: It is important that coaches alert bookkeepers to change the vendor address. Otherwise, your check may end up at the wrong school and your school will not be entered in the classic. It is not the association’s responsibility to track down checks mailed to the wrong address.  Please have district bookkeepers put the school on the check ENTRY DEADLINE:All entries are due by midnight Monday March 20thAll schools that do not pay by this time (check received or online payment) will be DELETED FROM THE MEET! ENTRY LIMITS: Each team may enter two athletes per event and one relay per event. In Pole Vault and High Jump, athletes must have a min. standard on the SCRunners database in order to enter them for safety purposes (See the list at the bottom of the page) An additional athlete that meets the standard (of current year) may be entered in an event. All three entries must meet the standard. Please fill out the following Google Form to request additional athletes for an event.   EACH SCHOOL IS REQUIRED TO HAVE AT LEAST ONE PERSON TO HELP OFFICIATE (It does not have to be a coach).  Teams that do not sign-up, will have their entries removed from the meet.

Coaches Classic (T&F) Entry & Min info Changes — ALL running events:  2 entries per school Additional must have a current year (Milesplit) standard (for ALL athletes) and submit application PV:  Must have a (Milesplit) standard of 8’0 / 10’0 to enter athletes (up to 2, per school). Additional must have a current year (Milesplit) standard (for ALL athletes) and submit application Starting Heights = 8’6 / 10’6 —- Start= boys PV at 12:30pm HJ:  Must have a (Milesplit) standard of 4’6 / 5’6 to enter athletes (up to 2, per school). Additional must have a current year (Milesplit) standard (for ALL athletes) and submit application Starting Heights = 4’8 / 5’8 Discus:  Additional must have a current year (Milesplit) standard (for ALL athletes) and submit application Minimum for marking:  80’0 / 100’0 Shot: Additional must have a current year (Milesplit) standard (for ALL athletes) and submit application Minimum for marking:  25’0 / 35’0 Javelin:  2 athletes only Additional Athlete: The committee assigned to discuss the minimum standards for additional athletes (must have a current year (Milesplit) standard) to be entered in the Coaches Classic track meet has determined those standards.  They are listed below and can be used to allow additional athletes to compete in the meet in addition to the minimum two per event per team.  The standards will be adjusted each year using a 3 year average.  If you have any questions please let me know.
